…. if we say we are followers of Jesus, then we can’t be following the teachings of Buddha. Christian means Christ follower, how can you say you follow Jesus AND follow Buddha?
Hector – Laying heavy on me
What you said is laying heavy on me. We don’t know when Jesus is coming back and we don’t know when we will die. The time is now to decide if you accept God’s free gift of salvation or to reject it.
Jesse – I am afraid of dying
“Thanks! I’ll be home in 25 minutes,” was the response through the RING doorbell. Rather strange, but God was working here. God had been working on this man a long time.
Oscar – I have peace reading the Bible.
Also the next time we met with David, David was telling us that Oscar has no interest in other books other than the bible, and in fact, for school, Oscar is doing a book report on the bible. David said that Oscar told him, “Ever since I first started reading the bible, I have felt this peace while reading it that I haven’t had anywhere else.”
Brothers Receiving Christ
Jude and I showed up that night to meet up with Jessie and Josue. I had just given Jesse a Bible the night before and he had read 16 chapters from the book of John overnight.
Josue – I am never home
“I am never at home, so it is surprising that you talked to me today.” It was rare to catch him at home and outside, but this is right where God wanted him to be.
Salvador – Pray for a better year next year.
December 2022 Conversation. Salvador is the Spanish word for Savior. Jakin and I were knocking on doors last evening and we met a young man named Salvador. We first asked if we could pray for him and he said, “yes, please pray for a better year next year.” This man spoke English so God allowed me to share more than I normally share with Spanish conversations.
