There is Hope

In Light of All That is Happening…

This verse really spoke to me… I know God is in control and he can calm the storms around us.  He is using this storm to open our eyes and bring us to him.

Psalm 107:28-31 NLT – 28 “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 29 He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. 30 What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor! 31 Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

It’s Good Friday!

This weekend we celebrate the culmination of Jesus’ earthly ministry.  He came to earth to show us the way to our heavenly father.  He lived and died for us on the cross.  Sunday is coming and the amazing thing is that he died, but three days later he conquered death and rose from the grave.

If you make Jesus you Lord and Savior and live for him, you too will conquer death and rise from the grave and live with Jesus forever.

I would say there are a lot of people that want Jesus as their savior, but don’t want him to be their Lord.  That is a problem.  He can’t be your Lord if you don’t follow him and do what he says.

There is hope!
