The environment is a little different here compared to Nepal.  There is a reason that India is #10 on the world watch list for persecution.  There is more of a suspicious eye towards foreigners and more vigilant defense of the Hindu faith.  One of our team members from a different site was called into the police station and also the RSS office.  He was threatened with death (by the RSS agent I believe) if he didn’t stop preaching and converting Hindu’s to Christianity.  This is very real.  Shortly after we arrived in our location, there was a facebook post from a local religious leader…. this article isn’t about us, but was about some others passing through the area.
