Helping the Church in Mexico

Motivating the Church in San Luis

When we visited the church in San Luis, we had the opportunity to share our testimony of what God has been doing through us. 4+ years ago we sold everything and gave it all away. We continue to live simply so we can give generously. We shared how God moved us to serve him fully and to truly love our brothers and sisters in Christ. The church leaders and members were challenged by what God has done with us. So much so, that the other pastors that attended the meeting shared our testimony with their local congregations this last Sunday. I pray that God continues to use it!

1 John 3:16-17 NLT – 16 We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion–how can God’s love be in that person?

If we truly love, then we would lay our lives down for our brothers and sisters. We had the opportunity to put this into action, we were able to help a woman in the San Luis church with a payment to be able to officially register her property. She has been living in a small, make-shift house for many years, but doesn’t officially own it because she didn’t have the money to file the paperwork with the state.

Here is Gabby with Pastor Jesus and the papers for her house!

There is No God!

To go from there is no God to a point where there is a God, I’ll call that a win. She didn’t receive Christ that day, but I invited her to church and also gave her my number. I pray that God continues to work in her hard. Pray that God removes her stony heart and gives her a tender and responsive heart.
