Christmas Persecution

Christmas Isn’t Easy to Celebrate Everywhere…

Today our team members in India had a wonderful Christmas campaign event.  I believe there were 300-400 people attending to hear a wonderful Christmas program.  In this part of the world Hinduism is strong and ingrained in the culture, so much so that in India they have groups like the RSS that are working to maintain India as a Hindu nation.  To that extent they oppose anything that is a threat to people not being Hindu.

NOT the actual event, but photo from another recent Christmas event.

After this Christmas event in a small town, our group was surrounded by 100 RSS members, they blocked the road and were told not to be doing these events.  To not be preaching about Jesus.

Christ came to this earth 2000 years ago and we celebrate his birth on Christmas.  Let us not take our freedoms for granted.  Let us also not neglect the reason for the season.  Christ came to save sinners and we are all sinners.

God Bless You – please keep our teams in your prayers!
