We have a good friend from church who has been doing ministry in and around Mexicali for the last 25+ years. They have met many needs for many people.
In the past they have done medical services, food distribution, building repair/construction, etc.
We recently joined them for a food basket outreach. Some of the baskets went to known local believers. Others were distributed as an outreach to share the gospel.
We helped provide food items and labor to construct the food baskets. We then spent about 5 hours driving around Mexicali to deliver those baskets.
We had two people pray to receive Christ. We had many joyful and grateful people.
We were able to visit a brickyard. Mexican bricks are very popular in this part of the United States. We met a family that lives in the yard and their work is to make bricks. You can see photos of the kiln, fresh bricks, wood for the fire. You can also see their home.
