Closer To The Border

Knocked on Every Door!

This month we said goodbye to Somerton, AZ.  Last July when we moved to Arizona, we started attending a Spanish speaking church in Somerton. Shortly after we arrived, we started knocking on doors, praying for people, and sharing the Gospel in this town.

I am happy to report that WE HAVE FINISHED!
We have walked every neighborhood in Somerton and knocked on every door*. Somerton is a community of 16,000 people. We have met many of them, prayed many more, and left Gospel Tracts on all the rest. We don’t know what God has in store for all those seeds planted or seeds being watered. Either way, we trust him with the results.

1 Corinthians 3:7 NLT – 7 It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

Closer to the Border

As we say goodbye to Somerton…. We say HELLO to San Luis, AZ.

San Luis, AZ is on the border of Mexico and across the border from San Luis Rio Colorado in Mexico.

San Luis is about 25 minutes one-way from our place south of Yuma. We are outreaching 4 nights a week for about 1.5 hours. San Luis will take us a little longer to cover. This community has 33,000 people compared to 16,000 of Somerton.

The harvest is great, the workers are few!
